About Us
The Shoshone Project supports families and nonprofits in neighboring counties that live in under resourced communities. We are based in the Wood River Valley and Lincoln County. We know that many families work in the Wood River Valley, live in neighboring counties, and don’t have access to many of the resources available in Blaine County.
Our mission is to build connection between these communities and support each other, creating stability and equity for all.
Our Logo
Our beautiful butterfly logo was created by Sergio Borrayo. His idea is that small actions can result in larger effects.
"We are all in this together. That is true on a lot of levels, our fates are entwined. We breathe the same air, drink the same water, travel the same roads, and live on the same globe suspended in space.
During difficult times, it is easy to feel defeated. But, sometimes the smallest acts can have immeasurable consequences, not only for ourselves but for our families, our neighborhoods, cities, countries, and the world.”
